The Lycoming College Campus Activities Board (CAB) is proud to announce that it will be host Mercury Nashville/19/Interscope Records recording artist Scotty McCreery. The show will be held in the Recreation Center on the Lycoming campus on Friday, October 24 at 8:00 PM.

“In researching possible acts for the show, CAB has taken into consideration the wide variety of music interests of the student body. The result of our labor is a truly exciting act for this year’s major concert,” said Larry Mannolini, Director, Office of Student Programs and Leadership Development at the college.

Following the early success of Scotty McCreery’s See You Tonight Tour, the Platinum-selling country star extends his first-ever headlining tour into the fall. The See You Tonight Tour originally kicked off in January making stops in over 50 U.S. markets. With his high-energy live show and allure of a seasoned showman, McCreery has captivated audiences across the country.

McCreery is currently touring in support of his Number 1-debuting sophomore album, See You Tonight, featuring Top 10, Gold-selling record “See You Tonight” and his currently climbing single, “Feelin’ It.”  Concert-goers can also expect to hear fan-favorites like “Trouble With Girls,” “Water Tower Town” and “I Love You This Big” off his record-breaking, Platinum debut, Clear As Day on Mercury Nashville/19/Interscope Records.

Danielle Bradbery

Big Machine’s Danielle Bradbery takes the stage with Scotty McCreery, Friday, October 24 at 8:00 PM. At Lycoming College.

Joining McCreery on the See You Tonight Tour fall leg is Big Machine’s Danielle Bradbery. Eighteen-year-old Bradbery charmed her way into the national spotlight with her sweet, soulful sound and quintessential personality, winning season 4 of “The Voice” and seeing multiple performances reach No. 1 on the iTunes Country Singles Chart.  Bradbery’s self-titled debut album features the Top 15 lead single “The Heart of Dixie,” and current offering “Young in America.”

“This is a wonderful opportunity for Lycoming to continue its long tradition of bringing top national acts to campus.  We are very excited about this show and we hope that our students and the community will come out to enjoy a great concert from an incredible performer” Mannolini said. “We are also proud to be one of the few colleges and universities in the country to be hosting Scotty McCreery on this leg of the tour.”

CAB is pleased to once again offer one free ticket to each Lycoming College student who has paid the Student Activity Fee, a practice that remains to be quite unique among colleges and universities that host major campus concerts. This concert is funded by the Student Senate of Lycoming College.

Tickets will be available to the general public on September 8. The cost is $30. Ticket purchases by credit card can be made at www.lycoming.edu/concert. Cash ticket sales will also available at the Dairy Queen in South Williamsport.
