Lycoming College has begun a strategic planning process designed to renew and deepen Lycoming's identity as a national liberal arts college with the goal of becoming recognized as one of the very best liberal arts colleges in the country.

Working groups composed of faculty, staff and students will develop ideas and tactics related to areas of strategic focus that will be synthesized into a plan for approval by the trustees. Alumni and friends are invited to a series of online forums to participate in this visioning process.

The strategic plan is framed by three overarching questions: In what ways does Lycoming need to change or progress to become more like the very best liberal arts colleges? What are or can become Lycoming's points of distinction that allow us to gain a competitive advantage in recruiting talented students and exceptional faculty? Where does Lycoming have an opportunity for national leadership?

President Kent Trachte invites alumni and friends to participate in the process
